The Baton Twirling Sport Association of Ireland (BTSAI) is the National Governing Body for the Sport of Baton Twirling in Ireland, holding recognition from the Irish Sports Council. BTSAI is the member country for Ireland with the World Baton Twirling Federation (WBTF) and the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) forming a unity with many other countries around the globe.

BTSAI offers WBTF World Baton Twirling Championships and International Cup, considered the most prestigious events in baton twirling, with both recently held by BTSAI in Limerick 2008.

Being a member of NBTA, BTSAI also boasts another World Championships, as well as European Championships and international competitions for Majorettes ensuring we cater for everyone interested.

'Coaching Ireland' (formerly The National Coaching and Training Centre (NCTC)) based in the University of Limerick, works with BTSAI to promote coaching at the highest level, and had awarded three of our coaches as tutors.

BTSAI also is a member of the Federation of Irish Sports which ensures all sports can work together and aid each other across a range of areas.

BTSAI aims to maintain the largest membership of Irish Baton Twirlers and Majorettes, promoting our Sport to the highest standards and offering a variety of levels, from recreational to the most elite of both genders and all ages, the best available in tutoring, coaching, competition and other opportunities to all our members.
